He is survived by: his wife Marlene Schmidt; his sons, Rick Cornelius of Cedar Falls and Mark Cornelius; his grandchildren, Adam, Sharin and Riley Cornelius; his siblings, MaryAnn Cornelius of Janesville, Arleen Burkhardt (Jim) of Cedar Falls, Darlys Dietrich (Jerry) of New Hartford, Ardis Matson of Janesville, Frankie Knight of Cedar Falls, Marlyn Cornelius (Sue) of Cedar Falls and Larry Cornelius of Parkersburg; and his brother-in-law Vern Patton of Janesville.
