She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Linda Sue Koon (Cavitt); her grandparents, Margaret, Lowell Koon, Susan and William Cavitt; and her sister Robin Hanawalt.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Elam; her children, James L. Koon and Daniele Daniels; her grandchildren, Rumor, Roulette, Razi, Zelda and Leonardo; and her brother Jon Koon (Melissa). She is also survived by her three nephews and a great nieces and great nephew.
