Marilyn Weems Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2018, at the age of 84, Marilyn Weems (James, Iowa), born in Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Vlaskamp and Dorothy Vlaskamp; her siblings, Jackie Dolan, Patricia Young and Frederick Vlaskamp; her granddaughter Samantha Laura Mollman; and also, Tom Young, Joan Harris and Burdette Harris.
She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Susan Mollman (Robert) of Cedar Rapids, Robert Mark Weems (Mary) of Cedar Rapids and Matthew Weems (Susie) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Jessica Witt (John), Jacob Weems (Trisha), Daniel Weems, Corbin Mollman (Sarah), Austin Weems (Kelly), Rachel Perez (Andy), Brian Mollman (Sally), Sarah Wendt (Colt), Megan Wubben (Brandon) and Michael Weems; and her great grandchildren, Asher Weems, Jaella Weems, Salem Weems, Jameson Mollman, Adalai Weems, Landon Witt, Titus Weems, Malachi Weems, Madelyn Witt, Samantha Jo Mollman, Havilah Weems, Lillian Perez, Calum Mollman, Jackson Witt and Jubilee Weems.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Marilyn's name to the Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary Shoes for Kids fund or Chorale Midwest.
