It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathy Nygaard (James, Iowa), born in Estherville, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Larson and Perl Larson (Weir); her brother Tim Larson; and her grandson Kane Nygaard. She is survived by: her child Kathy; her husband James of Spirit Lake; her children, Sara Nygaard, Orvis Nygaard (Sami) and Idaho Falls; her grandson Sage Nygaard; her siblings, Marie Larson of Estherville, Gary Larson (JoAnne) of Lime Springs and Stan Larson (Mary); and her sister-in-law Kris Larson of Terril, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Special bank team members as well as many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Youth or the local school back pack program.
