He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elsbury and Helen Elsbury (Hodge); his wife Kay Walker; his brothers, Bill and Don Elsbury; his siblings-in-law, Patty Elsbury, Kurt Renner and Dean Walker (Marge); his parents-in-law, Clair and Florence Walker; and his son-in-law Dan Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Harris, Kevin Engels, Kirk Engels (Cheryl) and Kelly Engels (Scott Knutson); his grandchildren, Matt Engels (Kristin), Ryan Engels (Shauna), Trevor Engels (Carly), Chad Harris, Cody Harris, Kendra Blattner (Matt), Kiersten Sands (Weston), Mariah Knutson (Austin Moore) and Kayden Knutson (Lizbeth); his sister Jan Renner; and his siblings-in-law, Laura Elsbury and Darrel Walker (Wanda). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Park Cemetery (416 1st St NE, Nora Springs, IA 50458).
