We bid farewell to Jim Andrews of James, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2024 at the age of 89. Jim touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gordon Andrews and Etta Andrews (Bickert); his wife Barbara; his brother Mitchell Andrews; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Andrews and Norman Rudi; and his nephew Christopher Rudi.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ann Andrews Rudi and Arthur William Andrews; his children, Elisabeth Strommer (Mark), Rebecca Andrews and Robert Andrews (Jill); his grandchildren, Taylor, Clark Andrews, Nina Linkletter, Shelby, Richard Strommer and Stacey McCreedy (Eric); his great grandchild Bennett McCreedy; his nieces, Michelle Rudi Rupiper (Mark Eshleman) and Stephanie Smith (Tim); and his nephew Paul Andrews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Iowa PBS formerly known as Iowa Public Television (IPTV) known for educational programming, which as a life-long educator, Jamie admired and donated to every month.
