She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Elder and Lillian Elder (Dueland); her husband James; her sons-in-law, Jerry Gathercole and David Powell; and her siblings, Donald Elder, Joseph Elder and Doris Applegate.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Craig (Jim), Ann Gathercole and Bryan Link (Bella); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda, Michael, Shane, Alyssa and Steven. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
