We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2024, at the age of 96, Phyllis N. Winterfeld of Ireton, Iowa, born in Hudson, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond "Kelly" Iverson and Inez Iverson (Anderson); her husband Edwin Winterfeld of Sioux Center, Iowa.; her brother Bob Iverson (Elly); her daughter-in-law Judy Winterfeld; and her grandson Tayce Sonichsen.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg Winterfeld of Ireton, Curtis Winterfeld (Roxann) of Hawarden, Iowa and Janine Sonichsen (Troy) of Sioux City, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Jodi McClendon (Eric) of Sioux City, Jill Halligan (Kenny) of Sugar Land, Joey Younie (Jerred) of Rapid City, Cathy Winterfeld of Algona, Christy Bruner of Hawarden and Jesse West (Brent) of Fremont, Nebraska. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
