Marjorie Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Johnson of Ireton, Iowa, who passed away on July 15, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bruce and Flossie Houlton (Thomas); her husband Ervin Johnson; her sons, Robert Johnson and Tom Johnson; and her children-in-law, Rob Murphy, Dixie Johnson and Sandra Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Margene (Jerry Meins) of Houston, Linda Murphy of Houston, Pam (Steve Stricker) of Naperville, Pastor Paul Johnson (Cindy) of May City and Dr. Richard Johnson of Hawarden, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Gloria Ping (Chad) of Ireton; her grandchildren, Ben Murphy (Roni), Meg Murphy, Ashley Schempp (John), Aaron Johnson (Holly), Mike Murphy, Joshua Johnson (Kendra), Adam Johnson (Amelia), Andrew Johnson (Ciara), Kari Halstenson (Chad), Alan Johnson, Jonathan Stricker (Kelsi) and Samantha Stricker; and her close friend Merlin Rostermundt. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.
The family prefers memorials be directed to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marjorie's memory.
