Smit of Ireton, Iowa, born in Pomona, California, who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Delmar Smit. He is survived by: his mother Ardel Smit of Hawarden, IA; his son Brandon; his wife Tina (Bruce); his daughter Nicole Smit; his grandson Bryce of Fortuna, CA; his daughter Brandi Smit (Josh Fulton) of Chapin, SC; his brothers, Doug (Janet Smit) and Ken (Kim Smit); his parents-in-law, Alice Harris of Ireton and Richard Case of Hawarden; and his brother-in-law Ben (Nichole Case). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family prefers memorials be directed to the Ireton Fire Department.
