He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Caruth and Ida Caruth (Riley); his daughter Tammy Caruth; his granddaughter Faith Caruth; and his siblings, Myrna, Lillian, Peggy, Merton, Calvin and Glen.
He is survived by: his child Robin; his wife Sharon Caruth of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his children, Dale Caruth of Iowa Fall, Penny Caruth of Iowa Falls, Rob Caruth (Sherri) of Iowa Falls, Anita Alley of Mountainburg and Tina Caruth of Mason City, Iowa; and his siblings, Beth Vieth of Iowa Falls and Virgil Caruth of Branson, Missouri. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
