He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Winters and Lula Winters (Reese); his wife Inez; his son-in-law Rick Cognasi; his grandson Ryan Winters; and his siblings, Floyd, Kenneth, Lester, Merle, Willard, Millard, Don Winters, Norma Krueger, Hazel Anderson, Ferne Winters and Jeanette Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Russ Winters (Pam) of Dewey, Randy Winters (Dianna) of Iowa Falls, Dave Winters (Jackie) of Eldora and Pam Cognasi of Amarillo; and his siblings, Lawrence Winters of Hampton and Kay Wood of Grand Junction. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
