He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Irvin and Ruth Elizabeth Warner (Olsen); his wife Darlene Louise Halfpop; his son Terry Barnhart; and his brothers, Jack, Bill and David Warner.
He is survived by: his close friend Bert Holland of Charles City; and his daughters, Connie Warner of Altoona and Darla Carpenter (Wayne) of Iowa Falls. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
