He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Izer and Elizabeth Izer (Tjarks); his wife Shirley Izer; his children, Rochelle and Lynn; and his brothers, Merle and Lyle Izer.
He is survived by: his children, Shellane Nicknam of Pacific Grove, California and Marty Izer of Alden, Iowa; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Nicknam of Pacific Grove, Casey Izer of Iowa Falls and Lana Izer of Alden, Iowa; and his sisters, Janice Vierkandt and Marlys McElvania. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
