It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Mitterer of Iowa Falls, Iowa, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hartkopp and Martha Hartkopp (Klein); her husband Leonard Mitterer; her daughter Esther; her grandchildren, Pam and Donald; and her siblings, Arnold, Ernest, Dorothy, Bettie, Marvin, Wilferd and Martha.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Mitterer (Mary) of Fremont and Mary Nehring (Richard) of Alden, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jeff, Val, Theresa, Shelly, Dan, John, Michelle, Chris, Cindy and Melissa; and her sister Anna Mae Diemer of Ackley. She is also survived by great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
