He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Izer and Elizabeth Izer (Tjarks); his brother Merle Izer; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Izer and Mildred Izer.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Larson; his children, John Izer (Fran) of Lawler, Donna Muhlstein (Eric) of Nampa and Julie Pollard (Tim) of Woodburn; and his siblings, Marion Izer of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Marlys McElvania (Marlyn) of Alden and Janice Vierkandt of Alden, Iowa.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Up until COVID, the highlight of his week was meeting with his friends for coffee.
