He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna K. Stauffer (Pokrantz) and Samuel Stauffer; and his siblings, Gladys Shutts, Glen Stauffer and Elizabeth Stauffer.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Stauffer of Iowa Falls; his children, Leslie Schleisman (Bryan) of Ankeny, Iowa and Christopher Stauffer (Tina) of Iowa Falls, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Nathan Schleisman, Elijah, Caleb, Gabrielle, Naomi, Eden, Hannah and Noah Stauffer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linn's Funeral Home (1521 Washington Ave, Iowa Falls, IA 50126). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church (221 Fischer Ave, Iowa Falls, IA 50126).
