He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Carroll and Wanda Sophia Chaplin (Schade); and his sister June Garwick. He is survived by: his spouse Deb Sue Aldinger; his sons, Derek Chaplin (Crystal) of Iowa Falls and Ryan Chaplin; his grandchildren, Chase, Brooklynn, Kuemper, Marly, Zarreck, Landi and Maggie; and his siblings, Felton Chaplin (Del Marie) of Iowa Falls and Kimberly Mann (Randall) of Mason City.
