She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil, Sr. Thomas and Lavera Thomas (Vandeventer); her former husband Cecil Caruth; her husband Albert Billington; her siblings, Donna Jones, Robert Thomas and Cecil Thomas, Jr.; and her grandson Jonathan Dean La Rue.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Caruth (Christine Hagopian) of Boston, Dixie La Rue (Alan Avery) of Henderson and Sharon Tilkes (Ron Rieber) of Iowa Falls; and her sister-in-law Karla Thomas of Charles City. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
