With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Scallon of Iowa Falls, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2024 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Scallon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scallon and Ruth Scallon (Oppold); his parents-in-law, Paul and Sylvia Jansen; his sisters, Jean and Susan Scallon; and his sisters-in-law, Paulette Jansen and Lisa Jansen.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Jansen; his children, Sara Bonney (Craig), Mark Scallon (Jenon), Amy Geis (Vince) and John Scallon (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Sam, Celia Bonney, Caroline, Rory, Anna, Julia Scallon and Colin; his siblings, Geis, Mary Kay VanValkenburgh, Rita Ballew (Glenn), Louis Scallon (Cosette), Bill Scallon, Kathy Wackerle (Carl) and Robert Scallon (Jennifer); and his in-laws, Dale Jansen (Sara), Lugene Jansen (Jane), Ron Jansen, Twila Jansen and Troy Jansen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
