He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret Jo McLeod of Carroll, Janice Louise Hanson of Hastings, Rebecca Sue Bauer of Hastings and Sarah Marie Knowles of Lake Mills, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jeremy Fank, Brook Norgart, Christopher Sliefert, Gary E., Tyler Hanson, Jonathan Grothe, Nick Grothe, Katie Grothe, Jacob, Lindsey, Jason Bauer, Emily Vireze and Tiara Wood; his sister Theresa Zila of Lake Mills; and his daughter-in-law Sherri Grothe.
