He was predeceased by: his parents, Lammert Meyer and Henrietta Meyer (Thies); his children, Tammy Fitzpatrick and Douglas Meyer; and his siblings, Elaine Lauterbach, Harold Meyer, Lambert Meyer, Victor Meyer and Raymond Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Meyer of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his children, Deb Muller (Harold) of Iowa Falls, Dan Meyer of Bakersfield, Tony Meyer of Chesterton and Angie Risius (Jerry) of Ackley, Iowa; his son-in-law Ron Fitzpatrick of Wheaton, Illinois; and his brother Art Meyer of Clear Lake. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
