With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayle Poortinga of Iowa Falls, Iowa, who passed away on March 6, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elmer Clarence and Gertrude Pauline Buckholtz (Neuendorf); her children, Vickie Brus of Iowa Falls, Penny Evans of Alden, Chris Vestal (Janelle) of Lucern and Becky Vieth of Iowa Falls; her husband Freddie John Poortinga; her sister Mary McMullen; and her son-in-law Ron Evans. She was also cherished by Ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
