It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Tjarks of Iowa Falls, Iowa, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gary Tjarks; his stepfather Stan Abkes; and his sister Colleen Tjarks. He is survived by: his mother Karen Tjarks (Jacobson) of Iowa Falls; his wife Rhonda Wood; his children, Nicholas Tjarks (Jessica) of Iowa Falls and Mandy Tjarks Monroe (Shane) of Eldridge, Iowa; and his siblings, Ronnie Tjarks, Doug Tjarks (Elaine), Kevin Tjarks, Shelly Hoffman (Thomas), Kim Abkes (Jane), Alice Abkes, Richard Abkes (Shelly) and Leonard Abkes. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
