He is survived by: his children, Kristin Hagedon (Brian) of Eldora, Kevin Knox (Tiffany) of Muscatine and Karen Brandt (Wade) of Clarinda; his sister Carol Minnis (Fred) of Peosta; and his grandchildren, Matthew Hagedon (Holly), Sarah Hagedon, Jacob Knox (Antonia), Jonah Knox, Madison Brandt, William Brandt, Dara Brandt and Justin Brandt.
