With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Chaplin Sr. of Iowa Falls, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2020 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Chaplin Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Chaplin and Francis Chaplin (Earler); his brothers, David and Robert Chaplin; his son Bruce Chaplin; and his grandchildren, Michael Johns and Amanda Smalley.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Chaplin of Iowa Falls, Iowa; and his children, Gary Chaplin Jr. (DeeAnn) of Ackley, Wendy Smalley (David) of Rockford, Alan Chaplin of Ackley and Julia Chaplin of Grundy Center, Iowa. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nineteen great- grandchildren.
