He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rahmiller and Vera Oldfather Rahmiller; and his brother Fred. He is survived by: his sons, Ryan (Amanda) and Brad (Tammy) of Marshalltown, Iowa.; his wife Gayle; and his grandchildren, Henry and Ella of Charles City.
He served on the Ellsworth Hospital Foundation Board, Friends of the Library Board, Robert Barlow Library Board, and Vision 2020.
