He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Marguerite Louise Pieper (Hoffman); his former wife Ottilia Pieper; and his brother Harold Pieper. He is survived by: his former spouse Ottilia R. Watcher; his wife Mary Pieper of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his sons, Bruce and Robert Pieper of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his grandchildren, Brandon Pieper (Lisette), Sara Pieper, Bryce Pieper (Casaundra) and Nicole Pieper; and his siblings, Merle Pieper of Ankeny and Genevieve Clark of Greene, Iowa.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
