He is survived by: his spouses, Dorothy Mae Silvest and Dorothy Bates of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his children, Darwin Bates (Cheryl) of Iowa Falls, Iowa and Angela Nauman (Doug) of Altoona, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Daryn Bates (Elisha), Stephanie Braun (Bob) and Kassi Nauman. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
