She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie LaVonne Squier (Judson) and Kenneth LeRoy Surls. She is survived by: her children, Bret Thies (Beth) of Indianola, Tony Thies (Mari) of Iowa Falls, Ann Humphrey (Tom) of Polk City, Bruce Thies (Laura) of Iowa Falls and Jill Agan (Kenny) of Ankeny; and her grandchildren, Brooke Williams, Brandon Thies, Ryan Humphrey, Jaime Vieth, Ashlee Waithanji, Emilee Humphrey, Andrew Humphrey, Austin Thies, Brayden Thies, Brodie Thies, Olivia Agan, Ella Agan, Katie Thies and Sam Agan. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
