He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Norem and Edith Norem; and his brothers, Don, Edward and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Norem of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his children, Venita Svaldi (Steve) of Des Moines, Iowa and Larry Norem of Eldora, Iowa; and his stepsons, Timothy Knapp (Debra) of Rudd, Kevin Knapp of Iowa Falls and Daniel Knapp (Kathy) of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
