He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Hilliard of Iowa City and Teresa Kane of Iowa City; his niece Julie Reimer (Chris) of St. Louis, MO; his nephews, John Hilliard of Iowa City and Jeff Hilliard of Los Angeles; his great-nieces, Clara, Ella, Amanda and Sophia; and his great-nephew Liam.
