She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Fuhrmeister and Alma Fuhrmeister (Sedlacek); and her husband William Langenberg of Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by: her children, Daryle Langenberg (Sandra) of West Branch, Beverly Nicklaus (Mark) of Coralville and David Langenberg (Sharon) of Fairfax; her grandchildren, Bryan Langenberg (Laura), Kelsey Langenberg, Jennifer Nicklaus, Johnathan Langenberg and Kathryn Langenberg; and her siblings, Leo Fuhrmeister (Deanna) of Iowa City and Rita Fuhrmeister (George Wise) of Tiffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:15 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (4330 St Patricks Dr, Iowa City, IA 52245). A Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (1122 N Dodge St, Iowa City, IA 52245).
Instead of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
