With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard S. Loughran of Iowa City, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on November 10, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Loughran and Francis Loughran; his wife Mary Stephens; his children, Rich, Jason (Liz) and Alicia (Greg Hayden); his grandchildren, Tristan (Becca), Lili (Drew), Ellie, Mia, Jaci, Joli, Alex and Cooper; his great grandchildren, Brynn, Theo and Milo; his siblings, Virginia Clemons (Bryan Clemons) and John Loughran (Val); his in-laws, Margaret Correia (Jack) and Jay Stephens (Julie); and his friend Sandy Willingham.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Croix Hospice.
