She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Sterman and Lillian Sterman; and her husband David. She is survived by: her children, Amy Sturtevant of Iowa City and Chuck; her daughter-in-law Alyse Vernon of Austin; her grandchildren, Nathan of New York City and Carly; her grandson-in-law Paul Langley of Austin; her grandson Mike Vernon; her granddaughter-in-law Coco Greenblum of Santa Monica; and her great grandchildren, Jane and Clark Langey of Austin, Texas..

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oaknoll (735 George St, Iowa City, IA 52246).
