Marlene Boerjan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Boerjan of Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on December 5, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Aubrecht and Bessie Aubrecht (Thomas); her daughter Mary Beth; and her siblings, Maynard, Harold, Merrill Aubrecht, Letha Musser, Lucille Kucera, Kathryn Hebl, Lillian Allen, Marjorie Anciaux, Donna Zeithamel and Beverly Al-Rashid.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Boerjan (Michelle La Vanture) of North Liberty and Mark Boerjan (Cheryl) of West Branch; her grandchildren, Melissa Ingle (Pat), Matthew Boerjan, Micah Boerjan, David Fischer and Sarah Yu (Sam); and her great grandchildren, Lana, Ariella, Addison and Tanner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service (605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240).
