She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ian and Mary Elizabeth Barhyte; her husband Paul Drummond Scholz; and her grandson Torrey. She is survived by: her sons, Peter (Colleen) of Nelson and David (Jill) of Iowa City, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Derrick, Corbin, Quincey, Adam and Jared; her brother Jan (Suzie); and her brother-in-law Steve. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Peggy requested any memorial contributions be made to the Iowa Children's Museum or to the University of Iowa Center for Advancement designated for Hancher Auditorium.
