Laurence L. Ho Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurence L. Ho (Iowa City, Iowa), who passed away on February 1, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mon-Lai Ho and Chi-Tze Ho; and his sister Teresa Ho. He is survived by: his wife Laura Ho of Iowa City; his children, Michael Ho (Bo Kwok) of Edgemont, NY and Theresa Ho (Craig Ellermeier) of Iowa City; his siblings, Paul Ho (Teresa) and Wiellie Hwa (Adam); his grandchildren, Lexi, Katiya, Tashi Ellermeier of Iowa City, IA, Violet, Victoria and William Ho of Edgemont, NY; and his siblings-in-law, Alfred, Peter, David, Chi, Alex, Albert, King and Janet Hui. He is also survived by 13 nephews and 7 nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gay and Ciha Funeral Home (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3000 12th Ave, Coralville, IA 52241.
