We bid farewell to Karolyn R. Sedlacek of Iowa City, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 13, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben L. Sojka and Amelia S. Sojka (Terpkosh); and her siblings, Bernice Sedlacek and Bob Sojka. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Sedlacek; her children, Lisa Gerlits (Tim), Robert Sedlacek (Judy), Tim Sedlacek (Amy) and Steve Sedlacek; and her sister-in-law Joyce Sojka. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brosh Chapel (100 Cedar St, Solon, IA 52333). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery (1122 N Dodge St, Iowa City, IA 52245).
