She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Evans and Rhelma Evans (Martin). She is survived by: her husband Dan Fisher of Iowa City; her children, Senica Fisher (Jennifer) of Marion, Tobin Fisher (Grant Tillman) of Ypsilanti, MI., Quentin Fisher (Jenna) of North Liberty and Rudin (Annika Detweiler) of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Gracelyn, Beckett, Reid, Evan and Kyla; and her siblings, George Evans (Liz) of Minnesota, Toni Clemens (Denny) of Omaha and Emily Peterson of Sheldon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home (504 12th St, Kalona, IA 52247). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Mennonite Church (405 Myrtle Ave, Iowa City, IA 52246).
A memorial fund has been for Hillcrest Academy.
