He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Bothell and Barb Bothell; his brother Denny; his brothers-in-law, Bob Thompson, Keith Anderson and Dale Villhauer; and his sister Linda Foor.
He is survived by: his children, Brianne (Ken), Tony (Alicia) and Jonathan (Emily); his sisters, Susan Anderson (George Kondora) and Lori Lux of Iowa City; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Foor of Muscatine, IA, Steve Villhauer (Niki), Keith Villhauer (Kim) of Iowa City, IA, Jean Villhauer of Tomah, WI, Marsha Anderson of Kalona, IA, Karen Michalec of Cedar Rapids, IA, Jan Robertson and Julie Strabala (John) of Riverside, IA.. He is also survived by his wife and children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service- Iowa City (605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA 52244-0167). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church - Iowa City (228 E Jefferson St, Iowa City, IA 52245).
Charitable contributions may be made to the Regina Foundation, Iowa City Hospice, or the Bird House of Johnson County.
