In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard McKeone and Mary McKeone (Dougall); and his brother Joe McKeone (John). He is survived by: his friend Pete; and his wife Karin Turner. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Park Lodge (579 McCollister Blvd, Iowa City, IA 52240). With his friend Pete leading the way, they made 75 desks for the Iowa City Neighborhood Centers during the Pandemic.
