James Raymond Scott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Raymond Scott (Iowa City, Iowa), who passed away on April 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Helen Scott (Holsteen); and his brother Robert Scott. He is survived by: his wife Jo Scott; his child Laurie Scott Cummins (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jim (Mira) and Katie; his daughter Annie Lesko (Paul); his grandsons, Jimmy (Kayleen), John (Chandler) and Joey; his son Jeff Scott; his grandchildren, Delcina Medina (Adrian), Heather (Ely Gaylord) and Ashlyn (Brendan Rose); his daughter Holly Blomberg (Brad); his grandsons, Andrew, Scott (Jory Goff) and Emmitt Benbow-Blomberg (Leon); and his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Juliette, Oscar Cummins, Delira and Tyler Medina.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brown Deer Golf Club (1900 Country Club Dr, Coralville, IA 52241).
