He was predeceased by : his parents, George Miller and Stella Miller (Stramp). He is survived by : his family Hawkeye; his wife Phyllis (Woode); his children, Martie Fleming (Kevin) of Jackson, MI, Steven Miller (Julie) of North Liberty, IA and Nick Miller (Morgan) of Apple Valley, MN.; his grandchildren, Ian Fleming (Sarah), Amalie Greig (Ricky), Megan Miller (Michael Johnson), Ella Miller, Ari, Vivienne and Coco Miller; his great grandchildren, Norah Greig, Ada and Ryland Fleming; and his sister Sandi Barger. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service (605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed toward the Miller Family in care of Phyllis Miller.
