She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Rohret and Genevieve Rohret (Leeney). She is survived by: her husband Daniel J. Gockel of Peter's Catholic Church; her children, Lynn Hudachek, Daniel Gockel (Kelly), Kathy Gockel and Teri Motheral (Bruce); her grandchildren, Danielle, Lauren Hudachek, Sarah Wolf (Matt), Grant, Blake Gockel, Finnegan and Rowan Motheral; her sisters, Mary Ellen Genzlinger, Jeanette Mickelson (Keith) and Barbara Ford; and her brothers-in-law, Dave Gockel (Joanne) and Tom Gockel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (630 E Davenport St, Iowa City, IA 52245). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Briarwood Care Center for a staff appreciation fund.
