With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Kellerman (Iowa City, Iowa), born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kellerman and Jean Kellerman; and his brothers, Mike and John. He is survived by: his wife Chris; his children, Erin Kellerman of Iowa City, IA, Justin Kellerman, Matthew Kellerman (Melissa) of Simsbury, CT and Annie Alvis (Bret) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Dillon, Kiersten, Jackson, Max, Grady, Gianni, Amari and Maddie; and his siblings, Kathy Drews, Sandy Domsher, Tim Kellerman (Nancy), Dave Kellerman, Jeff Kellerman (Cathy), Beth Kellerman and Tom Kellerman (Marianne).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service (605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Iowa City Elks Lodge #590 (637 Foster Rd, Iowa City, IA 52245).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Kellerman Family, in care of Chris, to create a memorial for Dan at the Elks Club in Iowa City.
