Carol Ann Gaal Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, at the age of 77, Carol Ann Gaal of Iowa City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Carol Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Lewis and Christina Lewis (Fowler); her husband Charles Gaal; and her pet Skipper. She is survived by: her daughter Christina "Chris" Lewis of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Jennier Finnerty of Iowa City and Archie Lewis of Iowa City; and her great grandchild Jorgito Lewis.
