She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Gorp and Frances Van Gorp (Watters); her husband Richard "Dick" F. Dolezal; her cousin Alma Ann Greene; her son Gregory; and her stepparents, Otto Treptow and Bonna Van Gorp.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hayes (Chris), Debra Tappan (Jim Walters) and Steve Dolezal (Donna); her grandchildren, Chelsea Della Betta (Steve), Rachel Hillesland, Andrew Tappan (Erin), James Tappan (Helen Leavenworth), Michael Tappan (Callie), Ben Dolezal (Emily), Danielle Lee (Nick) and Nick Dolezal (Katie); her great grandchildren, Skylar, Gabriel, Paxton, Jack, Gio, Graham and Chloe; and her siblings, Barbara Ziethamel and Wilfred Van Gorp.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Systems Unlimited Iowa City.
