He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Prybil and Lillian Prybil (Hotz); and his brother Eldon Prybil. He is survived by: his wife Rowena Pike of Iowa City; his daughters, Lora Sieverding (Mike), Tonya Seaman (Van) and Sonda Prybil (Brandy Walsh); his grandchildren, Lucas Sieverding (Rayanne Bartley), Jake Sieverding, Elena Blenden (Cody), Braden Lehman (Jordan), Jenna Mardesen (Tim) and Alexa Lehman (David Schmid); his stepgrandchildren, Emma Reed (Ross), Hannah Lewis (Mark) and Zach Seaman; his great grandchildren, Jack and Carson; his stepgreat-grandsons, Harrison and Miles; and his sister Joanne Reis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services (100 Devoe St, Lone Tree, IA 52755). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (214 W Jayne St, Lone Tree, IA 52755).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bernie's memory may be directed to the family to be designated later.
