She was predeceased by: her husband John Brummond Jr. of Ionia; her sons, Thomas and William; her siblings, Lucinda Hansen, Lucille Burgart, Florine Clark (Harold Clark) and John Kramer; her brothers-in-law, Harold Clark, Merle Hansen, Leonard Burgart and Harry Balk; and her son-in-law Michael Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, David (Peggy) of Oakton, VA, Michael of Charles City, IA, Robert Brummond (Wendy) of Naples, FL, Jane Wold (Tom) of Iowa City, IA, Susan Dickey (Robin) of Odessa, Doris Payne (Jeff) of Urbandale, James of Ionia, IA, Patricia Barnes of Iowa City, IA and Joan Bowman (Chris) of Urbandale, IA.; her sister Patricia Balk of Charles City, IA; and her sister-in-law Judy Kramer of Sugar Grove, IL.. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
